What changes between cities is the flat travel fee, which covers getting the truck and crew to you and back to the yard. You are told that figure before you book, never after the work is done.
Crews arrive with pads, shrink wrap, wardrobe boxes, dollies, straps, floor runners, and the hand tools needed for bed frames and table legs already loaded. Nothing on that list is billed as an extra, and nobody leaves mid-job to buy supplies on your clock.
