How we run this job

Office moves are measured in downtime, so we plan backwards from the moment your staff logs in at the new address. That usually means loading Friday evening, delivering and placing Saturday, and leaving Sunday as a buffer for the pieces that never go exactly to plan. Nobody should spend Monday morning looking for their monitor.

Planning starts with a floor plan and a label scheme. Every desk, chair, pedestal, and monitor gets a code that maps to a numbered spot in the new space, and the same numbers go on the walls before the first box arrives. A crew that can read a label does not need to interrupt your office manager forty times an hour, which is the single biggest source of delay in a commercial move.

We handle workstation disassembly and rebuild, filing and lateral cabinets moved loaded when the drawers lock, server racks and network gear transported upright on padded carts, and conference tables broken down to fit the freight elevator. IT disconnect and reconnect stays with your own technicians or vendor — we move the hardware and set it in place, they bring it back online, and the two schedules are coordinated so neither team is standing around.

Buildings drive the rest. Downtown towers want certificates of insurance, a loading dock reservation, and proof that the freight elevator will be padded. Suburban parks in the Tech Center are simpler but often have after-hours security procedures. We deal with property management directly, which is one less thread for your operations lead to hold on a week that is already full.

What it costs

Quoted per project after a walkthrough; evening and weekend crews available. Pads, shrink wrap, dollies, floor runners, and standard disassembly and reassembly are part of the rate. The travel fee is a single flat charge quoted before you book, and nothing is added after the job.

Common questions

That is how most of our office work runs. Friday evening load, Saturday delivery and placement, Sunday reserved for adjustments. Evening and weekend labor is quoted in the project price rather than tacked on as overtime.

We transport and place the hardware — racks travel upright and strapped on padded carts, loose network gear goes in anti-static-lined crates. Cabling, decommissioning, and bringing systems back online stay with your IT team or vendor, and we schedule around their window.

A dock or loading-zone reservation, freight elevator access for the agreed window, and the address for the certificate of insurance. Send us the property manager contact and we will request all three directly.
