Moving in Boulder
Downtown and Mapleton Hill add historic homes with tight staircases and original banisters worth protecting. Our crews pad rails and door frames before the first piece moves rather than after the first scrape.
Every Boulder booking starts with the same three questions: how the crew gets into the property, how far the carry is from the door to where the truck can legally sit, and whether stairs or an elevator are involved. Those answers set the hours, and the hours set your bill. We ask them before quoting so the number you hear is the number you pay.
Rates are identical wherever you are on our service list — $159/hr for two movers and a truck with a 3-hour minimum, larger crews priced per hour. What changes between cities is the flat travel fee, which covers getting the truck and crew to you and back to the yard. You are told that figure before you book, never after the work is done.
Crews arrive with pads, shrink wrap, wardrobe boxes, dollies, straps, floor runners, and the hand tools needed for bed frames and table legs already loaded. Nothing on that list is billed as an extra, and nobody leaves mid-job to buy supplies on your clock.

Moved out of a place on the Hill during the August turnover weekend, which I assumed would be chaos. They booked us early and it went fine.
Julian Ferreira — Boulder, COHistoric home on Mapleton with original woodwork. They padded the rails and door frames before moving anything. I did not even have to ask.
Delphine Rousseau — Boulder, COStudent apartment turnover with four units emptying the same day. They scheduled us first thing and were gone before the chaos started.
Lucian Abernathy — Boulder, COBoulder moving questions
Two movers and a truck start at $159/hr with a 3-hour minimum, and larger crews are priced per hour as well. A Boulder apartment usually lands in the three-to-four hour range; a full house runs six to eight with three movers. The travel fee to Boulder is quoted flat before you book.

Two weeks is comfortable. Month-end weekends and the whole summer season fill four to six weeks ahead, so if your date is fixed by a lease or closing, call as soon as you know it. Midweek dates open up on much shorter notice.
